Falconer Biology Library - Provides publications and handouts, as well as brief guides to BIOSIS and AGRICOLA, MEDLINE, SciSearch, and other databases of interest to users of biological sciences information. Also available are services such as course reserves, interlibrary loans, and library instruction.
Art and Architecture Library - Listings of rare art, architectural documents as well as illuminated manuscripts and collections. Information is available on research facilities, services, access and available equipment.
SUL/AIR Preservation Department - Responsible for ensuring that the materials collected by SULAIR to fulfill the knowledge and information needs of the Stanford and worldwide scholarly communities are available now and in the future. The Department participates in a wide variety of activities and provides an array of services such as: treatment and repair of damaged and deteriorated materials, digitization, microfilming, photocopying, media reformatting, materials preparation and collections housing, disaster prevention and response, preventive preservation, collection assessment, and conservation on-line.
Swain Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Library - Provides access to Socrates, science and engineering databases, e-journals, course reserves catalog, Web Guides directory, CPIMA/SURE, news, chemistry and chemical engineering databases, chemistry and chemical engineering toolbox, chemical lab safety guide, polymer chemistry guide and the Swain Guide.
Branner Earth Sciences Library and Map Collections - Provides an overview and history of the collection, various encyclopedias, handbooks and journals in earth sciences and cartography. spanning over 300,000 documetns. Also contains GIS data and extensive map collections. Multimedia materials are also available.
Classics Library - Information on finding library materials, circulation, collections, contacting the library, facilities, equipment, hours of operation, details on interlibrary borrowing, available publications and the reserve list.
Cubberley Education Library - Contains research aids such as on-line resources and databases, handbooks and encyclopedias, reports, publications. Offers a variety of collections, college catalogs, curriculum guides, government publications and dissertations. Links to various services such as course reserves and requisitions, equipment, and staffing.
Engineering Library - Offers on-line resources and databases, subject guides, course reserves, videotapes, news, equipment services, staff information and location.
Cecil H. Green Library - Lists of computer clusters and network access points, CD-ROM stations, a stack directory and map of the library, periodicals and social sciences and humanities collections. Links are also included for a general information center, visitors, and staff.
Harold A. Miller Library - Foucsed on marine biology, provides hours of operation, location, contact details, access & circulation policies, reserves, interlibrary services, indexes to marine biology literature, peripheral indexes, on-line catalogs of books and journals, SOCRATES, dissertations and theses, GIS resources and miscellaneous electronic resources.
Mathematical and Computer Sciences Library - Provides quicklinks, guides and publications, the Mathematical Sciences Collection, the Undergraduate Collection, an archive list of new books, interlibrary services, document delivery, reference services and news.
Lane Medical Library - Provides a wide range of on-line resources and reference material including e-books, e-journals, databases and reference tools. Provides customised research toolkits for various disciplines withing the field of medicine. Includes information on accessing resources and details of the functioning of the library.
J. Henry Meyer Memorial Library - Houses the East Asia Library Collection and provides related services for teachers, professors, students and researchers. Has facilities for users with disabilities. Links provided to access and circulation guidelines, floor plans, equipment and staff.
Stanford Music Library - Includes facility information, circulation policies, collection description, and Stanford music links.
Physics Library - Offering interlibrary services and document delivery, including on-line, collections include videos, UG theses, and Sci Fi. Tanner Philosophy Library - A duplicate collection to serve the research and teaching needs of the faculty and graduate students in the Philosophy Department. The main philosophy research collection is located in Green Library. Materials are available to the entire campus community.
Department of Special Collections - Provides public services to aid in accessing library offerings. Collections include rare books and manuscripts, the university archives, historic maps, selected electronic media and music, exhibits and publications. Links to assistance, staffing and reference resources.
Stanford Auxiliary Library - Houses infrequently-used Dewey and Library of Congress classified monographs and journals from the collections of Stanford University Libraries as well as materials relocated from Green Library. Materials shelved in SAL are identified as such in Stanford's online catalog, SOCRATES, as well as by stack directories in the Green Library and in SAL. Materials are arranged in Dewey and Library of Congress call number order on compact moveable shelving and are easily browsable.

Archive of Recorded Sound - Provides access to several collections of recorded sound and music of historical interest in a variety of formats. Small sound samples are available on-line and copies can be made by staff for classroom or extended-study use. Contains links to research facilities, collections, equipment, services and staffing.
J. Hugh Jackson Library - Part of the Graduate School of Business, contains databases, catalogs, e-journals, case and research papers, research guides, corporate reports, a wide variety of corporate, business and international materials as well as general usage FAQs and access information.
Stanford Linear Accelerator Center Library - Provides information services to support Laboratory research programs in high-energy and particle physics, particle accelerator theory, design and construction, synchrotron radiation-based accelerator theory, design, and instrumentation. The SLAC developed SPIRES was the first U.S. database on the web. Containes an extensive series of on-line reference materials and guides to regulal library use.
