3DO Rating System - The 3DO Rating System was a rating system created by The 3DO Company and used on games released for the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer in the USA and Canada. The rating system comprised of four categories:
The 3DO Company - The 3DO Company (formerly THDO on the NASDAQ stock exchange), also known as 3DO, was a video game console developer and third-party game developer. It was founded in 1991 under the name SMSG, Inc.
Killing Time (video game) - Killing Time is a horror-themed first-person shooter video game developed by 3DO. Though meant at first as an exclusive for their 3DO Interactive Multiplayer console, it was later ported to the Windows 95 PC platform in 1996 by Intrepid Software and to the Macintosh when the 3DO system failed to meet sales expectations.
Captain Quazar - Captain Quazar is a science fiction third-person action game by developer 3DO, first published in 1995 by Panasonic. Though initially released as an exclusive for 3DO's Interactive Multiplayer console, when the system met with little public success, Captain Quazar was ported to the Windows 95 PC platform in 1996 (a route followed by many other 3DO console titles).
