- Reach (Nightwish song) - "Reach" is a 2006 song written by Tuomas Holopainen of symphonic power metal band Nightwish for their sixth studio album "Dark Passion Play". As Nightwish received their new female singer in February 2007, the lead vocals of the song was changed from Marco Hietala to Anette Olzon and the lyrics of the chorus and parts of the music was changed, forming a new song, called "Amaranth", that got to be on the new album instead of "Reach", and even got to be the album's second single.
