- MV Craigantlet - MV Craigantlet was a British container ship that ran aground on 26 February 1982 at Killantringan Lighthouse in Portamaggie Bay, Wigtownshire in southwestern Scotland. The 800 ton cargo ship was bound to Liverpool from Belfast at the time.
- Craigantlet Hillclimb - Craigantlet Hillclimb, organised by the Ulster Automobile Club, is the only such venue in Northern Ireland to host a round of the British Hill Climb Championship. The course is 1460 yards (1335 metres) in length, and unlike hillclimbs in Great Britain is laid out on closed public roads.
