- David Soul - David Soul (born August 28, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor and British citizen and singer best known for his role as the "seat-of-the-pants" California police detective Ken 'Hutch' Hutchinson (opposite co-star and long-time friend Paul Michael Glaser) in the cult television program Starsky and Hutch (1975-79).

In the pilot film for the cop show of the 1970s, Starsky and Hutch, he played Captain Dobey, though in the series itself he was replaced by Bernie Hamilton.
- Private Stock Records - Private Stock was a record label which was started in 1974 by Larry Uttal after he was ousted from Bell Records. The label had huge hits with singles by David Soul from Starsky and Hutch ("Don't Give Up on Us"), Starbuck ("Moonlight Feels Right"), Austin Roberts ("Rocky"), Samantha Sang ("Emotion"), Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band ("A Fifth of Beethoven"), and Frankie Valli ("My Eyes Adored You").

Majors, in fact, co-starred in the series concurrently with his appearances in early episodes of Six Million Dollar Man.
