The list includes all commonly accepted genera, but also genera that are now considered invalid, doubtful (nomina dubia), or were not formally published (nomina nuda), as well as junior synonyms of more established names, and genera that are no longer considered trilobites.
- Paradoxididae - Paradoxididae ("Paradoxes") is a family of redlichiid trilobites from the Middle Cambrian. They were very large trilobites, reaching up to a foot in length in some species.
- Aglaspida - The Aglaspida were a group of small, horseshoe crab-like arthropods that were once regarded as being basal or ancestral horseshoe crabs. Now, though, they are regarded as a distinct group, either being close to the trilobites, or linking the trilobites with Chelicerata.
- Eophacops - Eophacops is a genus of trilobites from the order Phacopida, family Phacopidae. These trilobites are from the Silurian age and can be distinguished from the genus Phacops by its size.
